What data is processed, why and on what legal basis?

The site has no user accounts, forms or comments. Personal data is processed only in these cases:

  • Hosting: The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. With every request, Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser details, the requested address and the time in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
  • Visit statistics: The site uses Google Analytics 4. Before you consent, Google Analytics sets no cookies and keeps no identifier that recognizes you; it only sends cookieless measurement signals (page viewed, time, device and browser type, approximate location). If you consent, the _ga and _ga_<id> cookies (up to 2 years) are set in your browser and your visits are linked through them. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller for cookieless signals (KVKK Art. 5/2-f), explicit consent for cookie-based measurement (KVKK Art. 5/1).
  • Consent choice: Your decision is kept for 180 days in a cookie named apz_consent, which holds no personal data. It is strictly necessary to respect your choice.
  • Calculators: The tools in the Calculate section run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to a server or stored.
  • Email: If you email me, your address and message are processed only to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).

Who receives the data, and in which countries?

Your personal data is never sold or used for advertising. Hosting records are shared with Cloudflare, Inc. and visit statistics with Google LLC. These providers operate servers outside Türkiye, so data may be transferred abroad. Transfers follow the conditions of KVKK Art. 9; for cookie-based measurement, the basis is your explicit consent.

How long is the data kept?

Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period configured in Google Analytics (at most 14 months). The consent cookie expires after 180 days. When you withdraw consent, cookie-based measurement stops and the Google Analytics cookies set by this site are removed from your browser.

Your rights under KVKK

Under KVKK Art. 11, you have the right to

  • learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it,
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly,
  • know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred,
  • request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
  • request erasure or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Art. 7,
  • request that corrections and erasures be notified to the third parties who received the data,
  • object to an outcome against you arising solely from automated analysis,
  • claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
